Eurogate’s e-truck completes 1827km roundtrip from Poland to Denmark.

Eurogate Logistics has completed a three-day journey with its electric tractor unit, covering 1827km from Wrocław, Poland through DE to Copenhagen, Denmark and back.

Operating under demanding conditions, the vehicle maintained an average cruising speed of 75km/h throughout the route. Nearly 80% of the distance was covered while carrying medium to heavy loads, including sections driven against strong headwinds.

Energy consumption

Average energy consumption over the full route was 102,31Wh/100km, and on the final day, consumption fell to 92.57kWh/100km. It is a great result, achieved despite the load and headwind conditions encountered during the first two days.

The route made use of high-power 400kW chargers available along European transport corridors. At this charging speed, battery charging can be scheduled to take place during drivers’ mandatory rest breaks, without adding separate downtime to the journey.

What it means for our future?

The result further strengthens the operational case for electric tractor units in international transport: a fully loaded route across three countries, completed within planned driving and rest-time schedules and without the need to change vehicles.

It is clear to see. that using electric vehicles on international trade routes is not merely a marketing initiative, but a practical and effective solution for logistics operations.

Driven to deliver.
